An audit, using the Matching Needs and Services methodology, of the needs of 180 children from across social services, health and education. The sample was drawn from the caseloads of health visitors, SENCOs, teaching assistants, social services duty workers and planning and review officers.

Evaluation of a multi-agency project to recruit salaried foster carers
This is a new project that is recruiting salaried foster carers for children aged 11 to 17 and has a multi-agency support team who will provide services matched to meet the assessed needs of the children in placement. Evaluation in the first year will track progress of the project and the children and make recommendations for future developments.

Involvement of fathers in decisions about, and care of, their children
FRG has received funding from the Parenting Fund for a project which aims to explore and dismantle the barriers encountered by fathers and paternal relatives whose children are involved with children and families social services. Rtb will help with a literature review and with the design and analysis of a questionnaire to local authorities.
